About the Event
Description:
Creating sheets of paper is a fun, inexpensive hobby crafters of all ages will love. It is a great way to recycle any scrap paper that you already have and make paper that can be used for drawing, notes, and homemade cards! All you need is a blender, paper scraps, water, and a deckle. So, come and join to learn how to make paper for all your artsy needs!
Materials:
All materials for in-class use will be provided. You are welcomed to bring dried flower petals or leaves to add to your project. You will take home sheets of paper you have created.
Instructor:
Brielle Legallet has an Interdisciplinary Visual Arts degree from University of Washington, with a focus on printmaking. Learned how to incorporate different mediums and textures into pieces. Also minored in Architecture, so highly interested in geometric patterns and structures. Brielle builds scenes by interposing images creating a story. Besides printing, Brielle enjoys painting, wood burning, and sewing. She and her family have made their home in Pacifica, where they enjoy the nature of this coastal town and the welcoming community.
Cancellation Policy:
We can refund ticket up to 72 hours from date of class so we may have time to fill the space.
Age group:
Adult art classes, teenager accompanied by adult is ok.
